Accurate MRI diagnostics with modern equipment

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a modern and highly accurate diagnostic method that provides detailed images of internal organs and tissues without the use of X ray radiation.

MRI is widely used in neurology, gynecology, orthopedics, cardiology, and many other medical fields. It helps detect diseases at early stages, clarify diagnoses, and monitor treatment effectiveness.

When MRI is recommended

MRI may be performed in the following cases:

  • headaches, dizziness, and neurological symptoms;
  • spine and joint disorders;
  • pelvic organ conditions;
  • suspected tumors or masses;
  • soft tissue injuries;
  • follow up after treatment or surgery.

Advantages of MRI

  • high accuracy and detailed imaging;
  • no radiation exposure;
  • painless procedure;
  • excellent visualization of soft tissues;
  • can be repeated if necessary.

How the procedure is performed

During the examination, the patient lies on a special table that moves into the scanner. It is important to remain still for clear images. The procedure usually takes 15 to 40 minutes.

In some cases, a contrast agent may be used.

Safety and противопоказания

MRI is a safe diagnostic method, but there are some limitations:

  • metal implants or pacemakers;
  • first trimester of pregnancy;
  • claustrophobia.

Results

After the scan, the patient receives images and a medical report. Based on the results, further treatment or examinations may be recommended.

MRI is a reliable method for early diagnosis and maintaining health.
